ABOUT US
OUR EXPERTISE
Our principal surveyor was the Arboricultural Technical Officer for Oxford University, responsible for the management of an extremely diverse portfolio of trees and sites, from a world renowned urban park to culturally important gardens within colleges and University departments. The major focus of this role was the development and implementation of a comprehensive Tree Management Strategy to balance the risks posed by trees against their many benefits within a complex urban environment. Additionally, this role involved undertaking various consultancy services, from advanced tree inspections using sonic tomography, resistograph, ground penetrating radar and air spade investigation, to production of surveys and impact assessments for major development projects.
QUALIFIED AND INSURED
Sylvannin surveyors hold the QCF level 4 Diploma in Arboriculture and the Professional Tree Inspection qualification. Sylvannin maintains appropriate Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance policies for all aspects of tree survey and assessment. These levels can be tailored to your project if required. Our adherence to industry standards and regulations gives our clients confidence that we are committed to delivering quality in every project.
PERSONALISED APPROACH
At Sylvannin, we understand that every tree and its environment are unique. That's why we take a personalised approach to every assessment, ensuring that our clients receive tailored recommendations that align with their specific needs and the well-being of their trees. Where our clients are unsure of the extent and intensity of the assessment required, or costs are a major factor, we can undertake a brief site visit to guide and develop the survey instruction. This enables them to talk through their concerns and what they want to achieve, meaning they will receive the assessment they need rather than a generic 'catch-all' survey.
